Update for coaches and judges:

There has been an official ruling on the use of the round-off entry mat on vault.  Effective immediately this mat may only be used for round-off entry vaults.  There is no JO exception and a supplemental mat deduction may be taken of -.5.

As of 1/4/12 this is the ruling until the Age Group Committee decides differently.

The format, qualifying and registration procedure has changed for the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge so please read the information very carefully.

Important – please note the following:

• Qualified (invited) athletes for the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge are listed in the information
• Athletes who plan to petition to the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge must have their petition submitted to the Men’s Program Director no later than November 1, 2011.
• Registration for the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge opens on November 1 and closes on December 1, 2011. All registrations from invited athletes (not alternates) must be received by December 1.

Just wanted to remind those of you who are planning on attending the 2011 NCGJA Judges Cup, to send in your entry forms and fees before October 1st, to ensure that you receive the “Early Bird” rate ($50 per athlete), anything after October 1st is $60 per athlete and anything after November 1st will be considered a late entry and will cost $70 per athlete. So please make sure you get your entry forms in as soon as possible. Hope everyone is having a great off season and is looking forward to the upcoming 2011-2012 season.
