OCTOBER 1997 NEWS LETTER

It here!! The NCBGA Calendar. Sorry for the delay, but I had to wait until the NCBGA Board had an official meeting to decide on State Championships. Since no other bids were sent to me by the deadline, Technique was awarded the bid. I personally visited the facility and had a meeting with Technique personnel to go over all the specifics of this competition to insure it's quality.

Technique has been very easy to work with and willing to run the competition to meet NCBGA's high standards. They have a reputation for running well organized competitions and already have the experience of hosting the NCGGA's State Championships. They will be able to run this competition at a savings to NCBGA instead of an expense like in past years, which is key with our tight budget.

State & Region 1 Future Stars

Congratulations to those gymnasts, and their coaches, who qualified onto the Region 1 Developmental Team, and to those who qualified to the National Future Stars Competition to be held at the Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Colorado Springs, CO.

The State Future Stars Clinic was a very educational experience for the gymnasts and coaches who participated. And the competition atmosphere of the Region 1 event was a great experience for all the boys, especially those who will continue on to the National Future Stars Competition.
