Fellow Judges,

Mark you calendars for this year’s NCGJA Judges Course!

There have been quite a few changes to the JO program and we will be concentrating this course on the most recent changes, including the JO FIG, Xcel, and compulsories. With multiple coaches being able to audit this year with the help of NCBGA, we hope make this as informative as we can and encourage your participation.

WHEN:
September 23 and 24, 2017
Time: tentatively 8:00 am – 5:00 pm w/ a 1-hour break for lunch

WHERE:
Emeryville Center of Community Life
4727 San Pablo Ave Emeryville, CA 94608
Room: TBD

Here’s the tentative schedule for the weekend:

Saturday
General Rules
Compulsories (L4-7)
JD and Excel

Sunday
General Membership Meeting
Optionals (8,9,10)
FIG/NCAA/JO FIG

Our State Apparatus Leaders (SALs) will be presenting their respective events. They are:

FX – Dan Wood
PH – Sho Nakamori
R – Greg Ter-Zakhariants
PB – Michelle Huffman
HB – Tom Kutz

Please keep in mind that the following items are required to judge:

1. Have a valid USAG Professional Membership
2. Pass your Background Check
3. Have a current Safety Certification
4. Register for the Northern California Course via NGJA. (currently being updated but should be up by 9/1). In order to register for the course, you’ll need to pay NGJA Dues of $25.
5. Be current on NCGJA Dues.
$60 for judges,
$40 for audit (may be covered by NCBGA)
$25 student
Payment is preferred via PayPal (ncgja.secretary@gmail.com)
6. Pass the JO and/or National Test (70% needed to pass).
